Always ask questions. It doesn't help to shy away from the prospect of going above and beyond to serve the guest. Your supervisors are there to guide you and your coworkers are there to lend a helping hand when you need one.

I enjoyed all the people you there. I met a lot of people from different colleges. I was able to network with my manger who graduated from California State University Fullerton.

I wish the scheduling was better, the policy there could of been better. You are required to be fully available during the weekends no matter what.

I loved working with guests! I was at the guest services counter for the majority of my time at Target, and I loved engaging in conversations and helping customers get what they needed.

I wish our Drive Up system was a bit more solidified, as we ran into a few issues with it.
Advice
I would absolutely recommend embracing all of the pros and cons of retail work! This experience helped me gain an appreciation for retail workers, and it brought me closer to countless members of the Ann Arbor community.

What I liked
Fulfillment expert allowed for a semi independent workspace. Target has done a good job modernizing the workplace so I worked using a “MyDevice.”
What I wish was different
Sometimes there were bugs within the online systems which made finding the products in the store difficult.
Advice
You must be ok walking quickly throughout the store for the entirety of the shift. It is very hands on and independent.
