Investment Strategist
The purpose of the Investment Strategist is to support the portfolio management teams. A successful strategist will utilize mathematical and creative skills to provide a variety of analyses that are required by our insurance company clients. The ideal candidate has a balance of strong quantitative and communication skills. We are looking for a self-starter who can work under general supervision.
Qualifications:
- Strong quantitative analytical abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Interest in insurance asset management, especially fixed income
- Desire to pursue CFA designation
Initial job duties will include:
- Responding to daily requests from the portfolio management teams
- Stochastic financial modeling
- Asset/liability management
- Income and tax forecasting
- Quantitative investment analytics
- Composing charts and tables for marketing and client presentations
- Analyzing and producing reports from financial statement databases
