 About the Team 
The Sourcing team at Stitch Fix is comprised of several functions, with team members holding expertise in areas of Responsible Sourcing, Product Quality, Supply Chain, and Vendor Relations. The Sourcing team is committed to ensuring that the Stitch Fix Merchandising Team is able to effectively partner with Stitch Fix Vendors to curate lines of product that Stitch Fix clients love. Sourcing team members partner with Stitch Fix Data Scientists, Engineers, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure our vendors have a positive working relationship with the Stitch Fix Merchandising Team and clearly understand the expectations of their partnership with Stitch Fix. 

About the Role 
The Sourcing Intern will support Stitch Fix’s Vendor Engagement and Supply Chain strategy by working directly to execute key deliverables during our Fiscal Q4/Q1 timeframe (June-August). Working directly with the Sourcing Business Data Analyst, the Intern will gain exposure to apparel supply chains and partner with Stitch Fix’s Product Quality, Responsible Sourcing, Operations, and Merchandising teams. 

The Intern will participate in Stitch Fix’s summer internship program that will enable them to develop a cross-functional view of the company, learn valuable business-related skills, and build a network of bright and kind people who are also motivated by challenge!

 You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… 
• Own the preparation for New Vendor Orientation and set up standard procedures for executing future orientations. 
• Conduct internal research, interview cross-functional partners in order to write the Q4 Vendor Relations Newsletter, Better Together
• Update and develop sustainable user guides and presentations to be utilized by vendors and Stitch Fix internal team members over the coming year. 
• Build Merchandising and Sourcing reports and metrics based on insights developed through interviewing cross-functional partners 
• Develop cross-functional partnerships across the organization and gain insight into their business interests. 
• Have the opportunity to interact with and present to Stitch Fix leadership.
