Community Outreach and Education Program Intern

The American Liver Foundation, Greater New York Division is a non-profit organization dedicated to liver health and disease prevention.

We are looking for a motivated intern with a sincere interest in working for a health related non-profit organization.

Job Description:

The Program Intern will be working closely with our Education Manager conducting research, co-facilitating educational programs, assisting in outreach efforts, updating our resource guides, event planning, and assisting with general Program and office projects.

Skills Needed:

·         Ability to collaborate with staff and work individually as needed.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·         Good organizational skills, self-motivated and attention to detail.

·       Willingness to assist with a variety of program department assignments.

·         Handle basic information requests correspondence.

·         Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
