Mental Health Coordinator


Qualifications: Master’s Degree in the area of Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling or related field required; License (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC) and two years of experience in the field required. Supervise a team of mental health staff who support a program-wide approach to promote children’s mental health, social and emotional well-being, and overall health. Coordinate the process of assessing children, including initial screenings, ongoing developmental and specialized assessments. Work with an interdisciplinary team of staff, parents and partnering agencies to help support Individualized Education Plans (IEP), Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP), or Individual Accommodation Plans. Consult regularly with parents, staff and partnering agencies on the progress of services and treatment strategies in the areas of special education, therapeutic services and crisis intervention. Ability to work with staff, children and families to promote overall family wellness. Engage in the program development and delivery, staff supervision, budget management, public speaking, and relationship development. Strong written and verbal skills required. No third party billing required. Full Time, Exempt position, Starting Salary: $2,082.62 bi-weekly.
