Investment Banking Analyst Intern
Edgemont Partners is seeking a rising senior for a Summer Investment Banking Analyst Intern.
Qualifications
- Major in business or business related field preferred (science and math majors included) with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- General level of financial knowledge
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information
- Able to collaborate across teams and levels, both internally and externally
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Maturity and poise to work directly with client executives
- High-level of engagement and commitment to firm's goals and organizational success
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
Duties
- Research and provide presentation / research material for pitch books, memorandums, presentations and other projects
- Financial Modeling and analysis
- Work on various projects to support client relations
- Support business development activities of senior investment bankers
- Monitor and update contact/deal database as needed for specific deal teams
- Assist deal teams with other necessary day to day responsibilities
