International Inside Sales Specialist (Denton, TX)

Full-Time Shift(s): Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 

OVERVIEW: 
Working as a Full-Time Inside Sales Specialist-International, you will respond to daily RFQs, establish, and grow relationships with international customers by providing excellent customer service. You will be working with our export compliance team and international logistics team to provide fast, efficient, accurate, and cost effective sales transaction for the customer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 
o Developing strong relationships with international customers 
o Quoting, purchasing, scheduling, and coordinating orders and collections 
o Receiving, packing orders, deliveries, sourcing, and inventory management 
o Balancing multiple customer requests at different stages of the buying process, and meeting customer requirements based on individual country regulations 
o Communicating business statistics and progress toward goals 
o Managing data 
o Exhibiting a motivational and superior sales focus each day 

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: 
o 18 years of age or over 
o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements 
o Possess or working towards an Associate's Degree in Business/Marketing OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market 
o Excellent written and oral communication skills 
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite 
o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented 
o Possess strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities 
o Exhibit strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills 
o Demonstrate strong attention to detail 
o Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment 
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment 
o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled conference calls not during business hours 
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork 
o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs 
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) 

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
o Prior Fastenal branch work experience 
o Knowledge of Fastenal products and Point of Sale
