CARDINAL INTERNSHIP: REMOTE, for the Philadelphia, PA office. A Wesleyan parent and board member of A Breeze of Hope would love to see Wesleyan students apply for this year's internships. This summer's internships (six total) are remote, in marketing, audio/visual productions, business, and recruitment. Next year, there will be positions in Bolivia.

2020 Remote Internships - Marketing, Audio/Visual Production, Business, and Recruitment
 
A Breeze of Hope is an award-winning nonprofit that has been recognized worldwide for its outstanding results in protecting and healing children who have been through trauma. A Breeze of Hope has been honored and recognized by CNN, BBC, NPR, World of Children Award (known as the Nobel Prize for child advocates). By interning with A Breeze of Hope you will have the opportunity to work as an independent problem solver on projects aimed at improving children’s lives. 

3 Marketing Positions
A Breeze of Hope seeks 3 creative, driven, and meticulous individuals with a passion for marketing, communications, and advertising. Interns play a major role in our operations and they engage with the administrative team as problem solvers. Interns are expected to work creatively and independently on projects. 

 Areas of Work:
  • Branding
  • Marketing Strategy Development
  • Design and Creation of promotional materials
  • Webpage Boost

1 Visual Arts Position
We need a creative arts student who loves audio-visual productions. We have had over 100 volunteers who have already worked with us in Bolivia, and we now want to compile their experiences into a promotional video for future volunteers. This will be a fun, creative project!
Areas of Work:
  • Produce a documentary-style film of the ISLE Program (via interviews and supplied footage/photos)
  • Revise A Breeze of Hope's website to make it more visually compelling and accessible

1 Business Position
We seek a business intern with a keen interest in business models, business structure, operations strategy, and sales.

Areas of Work:
  • Business Model & Strategy Development 
  • Developing Sales Story and Strategy
  • Research into alternative business structures (eg. non-hierarchical)
  • Operational Strategizing for Gender Equitable Workplaces 
  • Fundraising Campaigns (via experiments with for-profit Sales approaches).

1 Student Engagement/Recruitment Position
We seek an outgoing and personable intern whose job will be to recruit a committed group of student volunteers to serve in Bolivia during the summer 2021 (recruit Wesleyan students!). This internship is essentially a sales internship for a take-charge person who likes to focus on finding what works and delivering results.
 
Note: If the recruitment intern recruits 10 or more committed volunteers, A Breeze of Hope will cover the expense for the intern’s travel and stay to/from Bolivia during a summer 2021 volunteer trip. Please contact ABH for more details (see above contact info for Brisa De Angulo).
