Intern Assistant to Jacqueline Woodson – Summer 2020

CARDINAL INTERNSHIP: Brooklyn, NY. The author Jacqueline Woodson had a Wesleyan student intern for her last summer and would like to have another one for this coming summer. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about publishing, careers in writing, and life as an author. All class years and majors are eligible.

Proof reading, answering emails, running errands, research, dog walking, organizing, helping with website, reading books for blurbs, answering fan mail, working with full-time assistant.

 

Excellent organizational, grammatical, and writing skills. Interest in publishing, publicity, philanthropy, and writing.

 

Part time, 18-25 hours per week. Flexible. Some remote work.
