Renewable Energy Policy Research Interns (two roles) - Summer 2021

There are two separate internships at Renewable Northwest. Read the overviews below and then click the links to the details. You can apply to both positions:

1) Renewable Energy Policy Research - Economic Impacts Research, Oregon & Montana
The intern will assist Renewable Northwest staff in conducting research on the economic impacts of renewable energy projects in Oregon and Montana. This work will support development of fact sheets used for advocacy work to build support for policies aimed at increasing investments in renewable energy.

2) Renewable Energy Policy Research -Renewable Hydrogen
Renewable hydrogen has many possible uses both on the electricity grid and across other sectors and is rapidly becoming a topic of interest in the policy and regulatory arenas of the Pacific Northwest. The intern will conduct research on the various uses of renewable hydrogen within the electricity sector and work with staff to develop a set of policy principles for Renewable Northwest. These principles will be used to focus our policy advocacy efforts and must be consistent with the organization's strategic plan, while also supporting the development of a sustainable and functional industry.
