Summer Analyst / Associate

The Climate Board (TCB) is seeking individuals passionate about supporting the transition to a carbon neutral economy. As part of the TCB Research Team you will work directly with TCB’s senior leadership in researching, analyzing, and synthesizing how companies facing common challenges can lower their carbon footprints. You will also get to experience the fast-paced (and fun!) culture of a company undergoing high growth. For interested, high performing candidates there will be opportunities for full time employment.

Applicants should have:

(i)                a track record of high academic achievement

(ii)               excellent communication skills (written/spoken)

(iii)              high attention to detail

(iv)              understanding of basic statistics

(v)               facility with Microsoft Suite

(vi)              an open mind

Key Responsibilities include:

(i)                Conducting research on company carbon trends/metrics and synthesizing findings

(ii)               Participating in analytical brainstorming, i.e. drawing conclusions from research

(iii)              Supporting interviews geared towards understanding company de-carbonization practices

(iv)              Identifying and mining new data sources to advance analysis

(v)               Organizing key climate related measurements and creating analysis outputs e.g. comparative graphs, tables, etc.
