Our internship program is 25 years old. Adam Frost, the company founder, started the program when he worked at a computer school, and realized that the students were graduating never having worked with a customer. Here’s how it developed:

Adam writes: “I started inviting my students to join me for my workday as a computer helper. Some students found interning with me much more valuable than the course I was teaching! Gradually, I developed ways to involve my interns in the daily work of the company, giving them engaging and worthwhile learning tasks that increased their skills and confidence, including directly helping customers. The customers have loved being part of this educational process, and it often makes them feel better to see other people struggling with computers.”

Students as young as 14 and as old as 70 or older have participated in the internship program, each person bringing their talents and hard work to the task.
