CFA - Gallery and ICPP Intern

Gallery and ICPP Intern supports CFA galleries through exhibition research, organization, and support for exhibition programming. Supports ICPP (Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance, a graduate program in curatorial approaches to time-based arts) by organizing the program's 10 year archive.

This position will primarily work with the Exhibitions Manager to properly organize files and ephemera for ICPP's archive. Secondly, the position will entail working with the Exhibitions Manager and Associate Director of Visual arts, this position will support developing content for current and future exhibitions, including public events, editorial work, curatorial research, and contract management for exhibiting artists, visiting performers and speakers. Weekly exhibitions meetings are part of the position. Hours are approximately 5 hours a week.

Skills required: great organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, good writing and researching skills. A keen interest in art, and/or a background in arts is essential for this role.

Performance will be evaluated via meetings once a semester.
