MUSC 439 Orchestra Set Up
Duties and responsibilities:
A Course Assistant for Wesleyan University Orchestra will be responsible for setting up chairs and music stands in indoor and outdoor rehearsal spaces for all members of the ensemble prior to every rehearsal, and striking down immediately after.
General qualifications:
- preference given to current orchestra members
- must be an enthusiastic promoter and supporter of orchestral music
- must be comfortable lifting chairs (one at a time) up on a dolly, sometimes over one’s head

Scheduling and hours per week:
- Mondays 6:00-6:30pm and 9:00-9:30pm, and Wednesdays 4:00-4:30 and 6:00-6:30pm
- Two to four hours a week, depending on assumed responsibilities
