The Seurat group is an innovative, boutique, insights-driven consumer packaged goods consulting and private equity firm. Inspired by the artist Georges Seurat, the founder of the Pointillism movement who used individual dots of color to create entire images, we unlock value by integrating multiple lenses of insight and creating new perspectives. We work with a range of clients, from billion-dollar brands to leading ‘challenger brands’ that are disrupting the industry. We are also contributing to these industry shifts through the cultivation of our own ‘challenger brands’ within our private equity portfolio. Our offices are located in Norwalk, CT.

The Summer Intern Role:
We are looking for creative, curious, entrepreneurial and team-oriented people who are ready to tackle a variety of challenges and are always excited to learn something new. The intern role is primarily focused on the Consulting side of our business and will have the opportunity to support Seurat Capital as opportunities arise. On typical project engagements, you would be responsible for:
• Designing, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative primary research
• Interpreting insights from a variety of different data sources and helping the team think about the implications for our clients’ businesses
• Conducting secondary research to better understand changes and trends in the industry
• Supporting creation of the presentations we use to help our clients understand our insights and recommended solutions
Who You Are
• Employees come from diverse backgrounds and majors but share a strong foundation in critical thinking and complex problem-solving
• Must be comfortable with numbers and able to draw insights and conclusions from data, whether from academic classes or job/internship experience
• Ability to manage work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proven leadership and collaboration in a team setting
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to master new skills quickly
• Ideally have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, but this is not required
• Advanced skills in data and social media analytics are a plus, but not required
