University Communications – Design Assistant

University Communications is looking for a student workers interested in working in the communications/marketing field. Are you creative, do have some digital design experience? If so, we encourage you to apply, see specifics below.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Graphic Design Assistant
Main responsibilities will include assisting our designers on various communications and design projects including but not limited to creating and editing graphics used in print, web, and social media, assisting with design clean up, copy and pasting, and organizing and archiving design and graphics files. Assist with updating WebDAM, our current Digital Asset management system. 
 
Successful applicant must have a strong attention to detail, interest and experience in graphic design for print and digital formats.

Required experience: Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Google Docs,

Preferred experience: Knowledge of Adobe suite of products to include; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat (PDFs), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. 

Must be willing to work in our student work space in South College or Exley.

Schedule and Availability:
4-6 hours a week
