Course Assistant - THEA215 Latinx Theater in the US

Position Summary:
The Theater Department is seeking student employee to assist faculty in the administration and clerical support for their teaching.
 
 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the professor in preparing space and materials for each class.
  • Managing online communication
  • Organizing timings of in-class and final showings
  • Reserving spaces as needed

Schedule & Availability:
Class is held Monday 10a-12:50p; this position is not required to be at all class meetings, but some portions may be necessary

 This individual would assist the professor in course logistics such as booking rooms and spaces for rehearsal, scheduling presentations, maintaining an attendance log and scheduling midterm meetings. Administrative support tasks could include making copies & uploading of plays and source materials. This course assistant serves as the liaison between students and professor.
