FILM-Course Assistant for FILM 104

Duties and Responsibilities: Student assists professor with classroom projection, in-class projects, editing and filming projects, after hours assistance with filming equipment and editing equipment and software. Assists with multiple projects and during in-class demonstrations. Must be responsible and dependable. Other duties as needed and discussed between student and professor.

General qualifications: Student should be comfortable working with other students. Must have 16mm and/or digital filmmaking experience and have worked with the classroom cameras and editing spaces. Student will be required to meet with instructor in person or via phone conversation.

Evaluation: student is evaluated by the professor on a monthly basis and the evaluation looks at responsibility, dependability, and competence.

Classification: none

Scheduling and work hours: to be determined by student and instructor
Minimum of 3 hours per week and maximum of 10 hours per week. Must be available during class periods.
