Academic Writing Events and Programs Fellow

The Shapiro Center for Writing is hiring two new student fellowship positions in Events and Programs. The position will pay $13/hour to start, with regular raises based on performance and length of employment. Responsibilities will include:

·        Working with faculty in Academic Writing to produce publicity materials for events
·        Working with other Shapiro student fellows to coordinate event publicity, including on social media
·        Assisting with set-up and take-down before and after events
·        Purchasing supplies, prizes, snacks, etc.; consolidating and submitting receipts for reimbursement and clearance
