Journalism Intern

CARDINAL INTERNSHIP: Lincoln Anderson '86, Editor, with deep experience in news reporting and feature writing, wants two Wesleyan students to contribute articles and photography. TO APPLY: submit through Handshake: your resume, a cover letter, and, most importantly, examples of your best writing: Argus or Wesleying articles, blog posts, public relations/advertising/marketing pieces, or other samples of your work.

Responsibilities:
  • reporting and writing articles. Preferably one article per week, but ideally more, two to three, if possible. There is flexibility, in terms of whether the writer prefers long-form reporting or shorter articles, which would affect how many articles per week can be submitted.
  • photography to accompany articles and also possibly for stand-alone feature photos.

Desired/Required Qualifications: Strong writing, good reporting instincts, curiosity, fairness, wanting to tell the story and do it in an engaging way. Good photography ability a plus.
