American Heart Association Consumer Health & Curated Content Fall Intern

Curated Content Internship
Internship Overview:
  • Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
  • Internship Duration: Fall
  • Virtual position

Responsibilities Include:
  • Create Social Posts
  • Assist in developing posts and reels for use on client Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
  • Help develop impactful PowerPoint slides that show opportunities and impact.
  • Help track and update components of the Beyond the Table project and contact end-users with completed pages.
  • Knowledge of Excel and written communications for monthly updates.
  • Develop first drafts of sponsored content.
  • Articles, video, social posts and graphic work are all desired.
  • Aid when needed on other team projects.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design and video for use on social platforms.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written communications skills.
  • Ability to deal professionally in a corporate and non-profit environment and assume responsibility within communications and marketing projects and programs from inception through completion.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities
  • Minimum availability 10hrs/wk, M-F
  • Required Equipment:
  • Laptop (the preference would be for interns to use their own equipment, and we only provision AHA equipment when necessary)
  • Reliable WiFi Connection
