Education Consultant (WP)
Ivy Global, a premier education firm, is looking for a full-time Education Consultant to join our White Plains team. If you are a bright, energetic individual with expertise in the college admissions process and possess a passion for working with students, this role is for you! Candidates must be able to work a mixture of weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends to match client availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educating and advising middle/high school students and their parents (both individually and in groups) about colleges, the college admission process, trends, procedures, and testing
- Updating Ivy Global's website, blog, and other social media outlets about changes in the college search process
- Keeping track of students' admission decisions, statistics, and reports
- Keeping up-to-date about specific colleges and maintaining membership in professional organizations: the College Board, the National Association of College Admission Counselors
Qualifications:
- Teacher's Degree (preferred but not required)
- College Degree (U.S. or a prestigious CA college preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of the issues and trends in college admissions, higher education, and testing-Guidance Counselor experience (preferred)
- Sales experience (preferred)
- Great presentation skills
- Strong communication skills and organizational ability
