Democratic Attorneys General seeks Finance/Fundraising Intern NOW and for Summer (PAID)

The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is the only organization solely dedicated to supporting and electing Democrats to the Office of Attorney General.

Our mission is to elect leaders into the Office of Attorney General who will stand for justice, equality and all Democratic values, support and advocate policy stances of Democratic Attorneys General  

We also work to educate the public on the uniquely important role Democratic Attorneys General play in state government and on the national stage.

DAGA is seeking for passionate, entrepreneurial, and hardworking fiance/fundraising interns looking to grow their political experience and resumes.  This role pays $15 per hour, flexibility can be worked out, as well as adjusting the role to fit for course credit/work study.       

Requirements

·       Responsible and reliable

·       Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills, and time management

·       Familiarity with campaign finance

·       Ability to work with a degree of autonomy

·       Must be flexible, courteous, and interested in public service as well as a wide variety of public functions

·       Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills

·       Quick learner

·       Upbeat personality

·       Experience with Microsoft suite (primarily excel)

·       Applicants should have a working knowledge of current events, and policy topics as well as an interest in Attorneys General

Responsibilities

·       Conducting donor research on current and prospective contributors, including biographical information, giving history, and contact information

·       Mailing weekly donor thank you correspondence

·       Assist with National Travel planning and Corporate Membership Events as necessary

·       Track and complete event follow up calls

May provide research assistance to the Policy, Political, and Operations Departments.
