What I liked
I liked learning new technical data processing softwares and creating designs. I loved the opportunity to get to know and work with professors and graduate students.
What I wish was different
I wish I started earlier.
Advice
My piece of advice to all the other fellow engineering students is that do not get frustrated when you come across a problem. Try to troubleshoot it with your best potential. It feels great to fix an equipment by urself. It feels great when supervisors trust you with executing the equipment/project.

Full time Intern
January - May 2017 • Buffalo, NY
What I liked
On campus, got to work with rats (actually cute and nice creatures), lots of experience and learned new techniques, great if you want to go into research, and very great boss who was accommodating.
What I wish was different
Nothing much, it was really great all around. Kind of wish there was no final project, so I could have enjoyed the actual work more, but the final project was required from the class part of my internship then the place I worked itself.
Advice
Really look into what you would like to do (i.e. work at a gym, work in a lab, which kind of lab etc.) , location, and find places based off that.
